A Different Approach to Grief Support
At After the Silence, I believe grief deserves compassionate, individualized support that is grounded in both lived experience and evidence-informed practice.
I am currently developing a unique Behavioral Grief Coaching Program designed to help individuals navigate life after loss using practical, measurable, and meaningful strategies.
Unlike traditional grief coaching, this program integrates principles from:
- Behavioral Science
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Psychological Flexibility
- Values-Based Living
- Behavioral Activation
- Mindfulness
- Goal Setting
- Compassionate Accountability
My approach recognizes that grief affects every part of lifeβincluding emotions, behaviors, relationships, routines, identity, and purpose.
Rather than focusing on "moving on," we'll work together toward building a life that honors your loved one while helping you reconnect with what matters most.
What You'll Learn
Behavioral Grief Coaching is designed to help you:
β Understand how grief influences thoughts, emotions, and behavior

What Makes This Different?
This is not traditional grief coaching.

π€ Professional expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
π€ Evidence-informed behavioral strategies
π€ A compassionate, structured coaching framework
Every session is individualized to help you develop practical skills while honoring your unique grief journey.
Please note: Behavioral Grief Coaching is not psychotherapy or mental health treatment. Coaching focuses on education, skill development, values-based action, and support. Individuals experiencing severe mental health concerns may be referred to a licensed mental health professional.
My Promise
"Healing isn't about forgetting the people we love. It's about learning how to carry their love with us as we continue living with purpose, hope, and compassion."
